We are searching for an innovative and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Specialist in Talent Development. This role is crucial in enhancing employee capabilities and ensuring optimal performance and growth within the organisation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing development programmes and demonstrate the ability to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Core Responsibilities in Talent Development
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive talent development programmes that align with organisational goals.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify learning and development opportunities across the company.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions to promote employee skills enhancement.
- Collaborate with department leaders to integrate development initiatives with strategic objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through metrics and feedback, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Advise and support managers in cultivating talent development plans for team members.
- Oversee blended learning approaches, incorporating e-learning and classroom-based training.
- Update and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for efficient tracking of employee development.
- Promote a culture of learning and development throughout the organisation.
Essential Skills and Qualifications for Talent Development
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
- A minimum of five years of experience in talent development or a similar HR role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficient in using Learning Management Systems and other HR technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for using data to inform strategic decisions.
Desirable Experience and Attributes in Talent Development
- Experience in coaching and mentoring employees for career progression.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in talent development.
- Proven track record in leading and managing large-scale development projects.
- Adaptable and open to implementing innovative solutions in a changing environment.
- Certification in learning and development or related areas is a plus.
